The drills were precision ground to tight tolerances with geometries that include a 135-degree split point to eliminate walking of the drills on the work-pieces and 3 flats on the shanks of drills above 11 in./64 in. for tighter chucking. This premium high speed steel drill set also has nitride black and gold treatment for increased hardness and tool longevity.
